Mobile IT are delighted to be running the IT Kidz Summer Camps again in 2019. We are back to some of our favourite villages and also running the camps for the first time in new locations.

The IT Kidz Summer Camps run for 4 days Monday – Thursday 10AM-2PM. The camp is divided into four themes and children will learn about a wide range of computer topics in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Camps include hands on experience, which each child having a Window 10 Laptop, Tablet and Raspberry PI to work on, along with Unplugged activities to reinforce their learning.

The camp themes for 2019 are:

Computer Skills

Children will learn basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Presentation, Publisher and Internet Safety. The children will learn about saving their work, file management, editing and formatting documents. The children will produce a range of work which they can print and take home.

Multimedia Editing

Multimedia editing includes, photo editing, music mixing, video editing and animation. The children will learn about digital photography, photo editing, how to mix music, animating stick figures and finally producing their own animated short film using LEGO.

Coding & Electronics

Firstly the children will build their own Raspberry PI and learn about the different components of a computer. They will then learn what is coding, and why we should know how to code, before going on to learn about physical computing using electronic components and Scratch. They will also create their very own web page and learn about electronic circuits.


Science Day incorporates STEM activities making science discoveries fun and exciting. There will be a range of experiments and activities that incorporate all aspects of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.

PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) Graduate Diploma Advanced Materials BSc Applied Physics Alice has over 10 years’ experience as a trainer and has been the manager of Mobile IT for the past two years. During that time, she has been responsible for organising courses, curriculum design and recruiting and pre-screening for courses, running courses and ensuring sufficient support post course.
