IT Kidz Easter Camp 2023!
Camps will run during the Easter holidays, in Croom, Newcastle West, Murroe & Kilfinane for 2 days 10:00AM – 2:00PM as following:
April 3rd & 4th: Croom Family Resource Centre
April 5th & 6th: Newcastle West Community Centre
April 12th & 13th: Murroe Muintir na Tire Hall
April 13th & 14th: Bruff Mobile IT
All software used during the camp will be available to the children to use for the duration of the camp. Each child will have access to a laptop to access the camp.
Each day we will be doing different activities based on the following themes:
Day 1: Easter Fun!
For Tuesday we will be celebrating the Easter Holidays by creating a fun Easter Animation, getting creative with Image Editing, Animation, creating a fun Easter game using block Coding, and designing a simple but stylish Web Page.
Day 2: World Earth Day!
Wednesday is all about celebrating the Earth, as World Earth Day is on April 22nd this year. We will be practicing our typing skills with a MS Word activity and creating our own Environmental Hero Comic book, Creating a PowerPoint Presentation and creating a Recycling game in Scratch.
