Description
Now more than ever, it is important for our Teens to have good computer skills. As more and more their life is moving online, from social to education, almost everything can now be accessed online.
While Teens are digitally literate when it comes to social media, online game playing etc. The one area where their skills are lacking is probably the most important and that is computer skills, i.e. file management and word processing. These skills are essential as they move up through school and have to complete assignments in Word, or presentations in PowerPoint, and even include Charts in reports, and of course know where to find their files on their computer. This IT Skills for Secondary School course aims to address these needs by teaching the participants these skills so that they can concentrate on their homework, and not have to stress over how they will present it.
Over the course of 6 weeks, 1 hour a week, participants will learn File Management, Word Processing, Spreadsheets and Presentation. We will also look at Email, Google Workspaces and Microsoft Teams.
