This week we are coding another game – a ball catching game. This project will teach us how to add a variable to store our score, to understand the need for pauses between actions in loops and how to generate random numbers.

Today we are going to code a Hide and Seek game. We will learn how to make sprites react to input, how to add sounds in Scratch and how to use X and Y coordinates to position our sprites.
This week we will be coding tech toys! We will be making toys change colour, move, make noises just by clicking on them. We will be learning how to animate sprites, how to respond to keyboard input and understanding how broadcast works. There is also some toys for you to code just the way you want to.
This week we will be coding a balloon popping game. We will be learning how to make sprites move using animation, how to use random numbers, how to draw our own sprites, and how to work with clones.
This week we create a 2 player football game in which you have to score as many goals as you can in 30 seconds. We will be learning how to use sensing blocks when sprites touch each other and how to use broadcast blocks to communicate between blocks.
This week’s project is a very interesting interactive animation. We will use cloning to turn one butterfly into a whole team of Synchorised Butterflies and we will be able to control their movements with key presses.
This week’s project is another fun game. We will create a game in which you have to guide a parrot past scrolling pipes to score points. We will be learning how to create our own sprites, how to use sounds and detect collisions.
Today in Code Club we create an archery game, in which you have to shoot arrows as close to the bullseye as you can. We will revise using animations, broadcasts and random numbers.
This week’s project is a racing game. We will be learning about operators and variables as we code a boat race game, where we use the mouse to navigate the boat to an island without bumping into obstacles.
Another Game programmed in Scratch, here we have to try to remember the sounds of the drums to match the sequence.. Why not code along, and then when the video is over continue with the challenge.
